GMG Gallery opened in 2007 in a 500 square meter space in downtown Moscow. The focus of the gallery is to exhibit, represent and champion an international group of contemporary artists. Originally focusing on Russian conceptualist artists the program has expanded to include artists working in Europe and the United States, such as Gary Hill and Bjørn Melhus, as well as emerging artists. While the artists employ all mediums from painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and video, the gallery maintains a tendency towards conceptually driven artwork.
